Our Story
In 2010 Justin and Kevin decided that there was a need for a new salon in Hampton Roads, a salon where their customers were more than just names in an appointment book. Most salons were cold, unfriendly factories. They wanted their guests to feel they were part of a family and wanted to create a space where everyone would feel welcome and never rushed. In April of 2010 Salon Fringe opened its doors and began providing premium services and personalized care.. Today the salon still holds true to those ideals even after expanding and dramatically diversifying its retail offerings to bring you luxury haircare, home fragrances, seasonal gifts and body products. Like ‘Cheers’, Salon Fringe is a place where everybody knows your name.
Our Products
After testing and sampling product after product we have carefully and knowledgeably curated the best hair care brands available on the market. Here at Salon Fringe the health, beauty and integrity of your hair is our top concern. In an effort to provide you with a healthier and more pleasant hair service we also offer an ammonia free alternative to most color services. To insure that the hair remains salon beautiful we offer a full range of targeted hair care products from Kérastase, Loreal Professionnel, Shu Uemura and Baxter Of California, fully able to address and treat any at home hair issues you might have, such as dry or thinning hair. Our group of highly skilled stylists come from a very wide background of educational experiences and have trained all over the continental US at the very best style schools and symposia. Continuing education is very important to all stylists at Salon Fringe and we consistently attend and host top notch educational events to stay current with new color and cut trends.
